Durham Public Schools

Durham Public Schools, established in 1881, is a prolific education system located in Durham, North Carolina, serving K-12 students with a wide variety of academic programs and extracurricular activities. The mission of DPS is to "embrace, educate, and empower every student to innovate, serve, and lead" as it vision is to ensure every school is a place where all students love learning, strive to innovate and make a positive difference. The educational district consists of 53 schools which include elementary, middle, high, and specialty schools.
