Government of Nunavut

The Government of Nunavut, one of the territorial governments in Canada, is responsible for the administration of public services such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure development. Since its establishment in April 1999, the government's mission has been centered on the well-being, quality of life, and self-reliance of the Inuit, preserving their language, culture, and environment. The Government of Nunavut's central office is located in the capital, Iqaluit, and it operates regional offices across the territory's 25 communities.
